Customer- Invoice Details Report

Overview

Surf Accounts provides all the relevant information in a methodical and structured manner to make it easy to understand. It has been designed in such a fashion so that it can be used by the large corporation, and small and medium enterprises and accountants. You can customise your reports for the individual business. With simple select options, you can preview them on the fly before emailing or saving a copy. The reports will be generated which can be viewed in an interactive way on a real-time basis.

Customer Report

Customer report will generate reports regarding Invoice and Credit Note, Invoice Details, Customer Payments, Aged Customer balances, Statements, Customer Accounts, Quote/Order Report, Product / Price Reports. 

Customer Invoice Details Report

To generate reports of the Customer Invoice Details report select Reports »Customers » Customer Invoice Details Report. The following screen will appear.

Generating the Customer Invoice Details Report

Date Range: Select the Date range of the period for which you want to generate the report. Use the calendar to select the date range.

Summary / Detailed: Select the Type by using the drop down. You can generate the separate report for Invoice, Credit Note, and Opening Balance and for all types. For e.g. to generate reports only for customer sales invoices, select Invoices from the “Type” drop down.

Product Code/ Category/ Analysis Code: Select the product code/ category/ analysis code from the drop down. By selecting the Product code/category/ analysis code from the “Type”, in the report the selected Type will appear.

Use "Date Range", "Summary / Detailed", Type from the Browse as highlighted.

If "Type" is being selected as  Product Code the following screen will appear.

Customisation of the Invoice Details Report

By selecting “Advanced Settings” user can include or exclude different columns to customise the report as per the business requirement. This includes the Date; Name, Product codes, Description, Quantity, Price, Net Price,  Code, Category Analysis Code, Doc. No., Purchase Price, margin, Profit, Discount %, Discount VAT code, VAT Rate, Analysis Description, VAT, and the Gross Amount. Select the one as per the business requirement so that the Customer Invoice Details Report can display the relevant information.

By selecting the "Advance" option you will be brought forward to the following "Advance settings" pop up.

To include or exclude columns as per your requirement use this browser. From the same browser, you can also sort the report. Use the “Sorting” option depending on the requirement. At the same time, you can customise the report feature wise. After customisation select the "Update" button to save. 

Toolbar functionality of the Customer Invoice Details Report

To Print, Save, Email the “Customer Sales Invoice Report” select the options from the Toolbar of the Reporting browse.
The “Customer Invoice Details Report” can be saved as a PDF file to the local machine. You can also download the report as *xls file by selecting the MS-Excel option. 
By using the Toolbar of the “Customer Invoice” Report browse you can print, download in MS Excel format, Save to your local machine as PDF and email the report

Select the icons from the Reporting Toolbar

Print the Sales Invoice: To print the Sales Invoice Report select the “Print” icon to print. A preview will be generated along with a “Print” icon. The following screen will appear.

Download the Invoice Details Report in MS Excel Format (both Summary & Details): To download the Customer Invoice detail report select the Excel Icon from the toolbar .All Invoices entered into Surf Accounts can be downloaded in MS Excel Format. To make it more useful and dynamic for the user the report will be downloaded separately as “Summary” and “Detailed” in a single spreadsheet.

Download “Invoice Details Report “in MS Excel to your local machine.

Download Customer Sales Invoice Detail Report in a spreadsheet. 

Save: To save the Sales Invoice Report into your local machine as PDF select the “Save” icon from the toolbar. The following screen will appear.

"Save" the Sales Invoices Report to your local machine as PDF. 

Email: To email, the “Customer Invoice Details Report” select the “Email” icon of the “Customer Invoice Details” Browse. The following screen will appear.

From: System will populate the user’s registered an email address.

To: Enter the Email address of the recipient.

CC/BCC: Enter the email address you want to send a copy of the report.

Subject: Enter the “Subject line” into the subject column.

Attachment: The report will be attached as a PDF file along with the statement date.

A pop up appears to send an email. The recipient will click on the attachment to open the Customer Invoice Details Report.
