Supplier - Supplier Payment Report



Surf Accounts provides all the relevant information in a methodical and structured manner to make it easy to understand. It has been designed in such a fashion so that it can be used by the large corporation, and small and medium enterprises and accountants. You can customise your reports for the individual business. With simple select options, you can preview them on the fly before emailing or saving a copy. The reports will be generated and can be viewed interactive reports on a real-time basis.

Supplier Report

Supplier report will generate reports regarding Invoice and Credit Note, Invoice Details, Supplier Payments, Aged Supplier balances, Statements, Supplier Accounts, Recurring Template & Invoices, Quote/Order Report, Product / Price Reports. 

Generating the Supplier Payment Report

To generate the Supplier payment report select Reports» Supplier Payment Report the following screen will appear. 


End Date Range: Select the “Date Range” by using the calendar. This will specify the time period of the Supplier payment report.

Type: Select the “Type” as “Payment “or “Opening Balance” or “Both”. Depending on the selection of the type of the Type the details will be displayed in the Report. For e.g. if you want to generate the report only for the Supplier payment select the “Type” as Payment.  

Payment Type: By selecting the “Payment type” you can select the mode of the payment you received. For e.g. if you want to generate the cash payment report select the “Payment Type” as Cash.  

Doc No: Doc No. column will show the receipt number. If you wish to generate a report on the basis of receipt number select the range of receipt number in the Doc. No. column.

Bank: Select the bank account or name. For e.g. bank code could be 771 as Bank Current Account.

Advanced: Select the “Advanced” button to include or exclude the columns in the Supplier Payment Report.  

Select the "Date Range", "Type", "Doc No" and the "Bank" from the browser and then select "Run" to generate the report.

Customise Supplier Payment Report

From the “Advanced Settings,” user can include or exclude different columns to customise the report as per the business requirement. This includes the Date; Doc No, Code, Name, Net, VAT, Gross, Vat Codes, VAT Rates, Lodgment No, Lodgment Date, Type, Notes,  Ref No, Discount, Outstanding, Allocated, Nominal Description, Nominal Code. Select the column as per the business requirement so that the Supplier Payment Report can display the relevant information. Select the columns to include or exclude in the report from “Advanced Settings”. 


You can sort the report from the same pop up by selecting “Sorting” option. In the report, if you wish to show the splits select the “Show split” option under “Features”. 

For e.g. from the "Type" if you select to "Payment" only and generate the report the following screen will appear.

Toolbar functionality of the Supplier Payment Report

To Print, Save, Email the “Supplier Payment Report” select the option from the Toolbar of the Supplier Payment browse.

The “Supplier Payment Report” can be saved as a PDF file to the local machine. You can also download the report as *xls file by selecting the MS-Excel option.

By using the Toolbar of the “Supplier Payment Report” browse you can print, download in MS Excel format, Save to your local machine as PDF and email the report.  


Print the Supplier Payment Report: To print the Supplier Payment Report, select the Print icon from the toolbar of the reporting browser. A preview will be generated along with a “Print” icon. The following screen will appear.


Excel: To download the Payment Report in MS excel format select the “Excel” option and the report will be downloaded on the local machine in Excel (Spreadsheet) format. 


Save: To save the Supplier Payment Report select the “Save” option from the toolbar and the report will be downloaded to your local machine in PDF format.


Email: To send the Supplier Payment Report through email select the “Email” option from the toolbar. A pop up will be generated.

To: Enter the email address of the recipient.

CC/BCC: Enter the email address if you wish to send a copy of the report.

Subject: Enter the subject line of the mail dial up box. 

Attachment: Select the attachment to open the report or save into your local machine.
