Customers- Customer Account Report

Overview

Surf Accounts provides all the relevant information in a methodical and structured manner to make it easy to understand. It has been designed in such a fashion so that it can be used by the large corporation, and small and medium enterprises and accountants. You can customise your reports for the individual business. With simple select options, you can preview them on the fly before emailing or saving a copy. The reports will be generated and can be viewed interactive reports on a real-time basis.

Customer Report

Customer report will generate reports regarding Invoice and Credit Note, Invoice Details, Customer Payments, Aged Customer balances, Statements, Customer Accounts, Quote/Order Report, Product / Price Reports.

Generating the Customer Accounts Report

The key objective of generating the customer accounts report is to have a complete look on the customer’s account status at a glance. You can track each and every customer you enter into Surf Accounts.

To generate the customer account report select Reports» Customer» Customer Accounts Report will appear.

Select the Customer Accounts Reports under Reports Tab you will be brought forward to the following browsers.

Sort the Customer Accounts Report

Surf Accounts has introduced an excellent feature to sort the customer accounts report. Following is the detail illustration of the Customer Accounts Report.

To Date: Select the Date of the report you want to generate by using the calendar. For e.g. if you want to generate the report for 01.03.2014 select the date in the date column and it will be reflected as “Date Range” on the right-hand side of the report. 

Customers: Select the name of the customer by using the magnifying glass. The customer name along with the code will appear in a pop-up. Select the name of the customer pop up shown in the figure. For multiple customers select the range of the customer.  
Run: After the selection of the date and customers select “Run” to generate a report.

Select the name of the customer as mentioned in the above figure.

By selecting the “Date” and “Customer Range” you will be brought forward to the following browser. The date range appears on the report at the right-hand side and the selected customer account card report appears in the browser.

Customisation of the Customer Accounts Card Report

To customise the customer account card report select the “Advance” button of the browser and it will open up a new pop up as “Advanced Settings”. To customize the report you can include or excludes columns in the report. This includes Due Date, Ref No, Notes, Date, Description, Doc No, Invoice, payment, allocated, outstanding, balance. 

By selecting the “Suppress Zero” the transaction having zero balance will not appear in the report.
You can sort the report by the customer name or code or by a total.

Toolbar functionality of the Customer Accounts Report

To Print, Save, Email the “Customer Account Report” select the option from the Toolbar of the Customer Payment browse.

The “Customer Account Report” can be saved as a PDF file to the local machine. You can also download the report as *xls file by selecting the MS-Excel option.

By using the Toolbar of the “Customer Account Report” browse you can print, download in MS Excel format, Save to your local machine as PDF and email the report.

Select the icons from the Customer Account Card Report.

Print the Customer Account Card Report: To print the Customer Account Card Report, select the Print icon from the toolbar of the reporting browse. A preview will be generated along with a “Print” icon the following screen will appear.

Select the "Printer" icon to print the report.

Excel: To download the Account Card  Report in MS excel format select the “Excel” option and the report will be downloaded on the local machine in Excel (Spreadsheet) format.

Save the Report as PDF to your local machine.

Save: To save the report click on the save icon from the report will be saved on your local computer as PDF.

Save: Select the "Save" option and report will be downloaded as PDF format into your local machine.

Email: To send the Customer Account Report through email select the “Email” option from the toolbar. A pop up will be generated.

To: Enter the email address of the recipient.

CC/BCC: Enter the email address if you wish to send a copy of the report.

Subject: Enter the subject line of the mail dial up box.

The recipient can click on the attachment to open the report to print or save.
