Overview
We have introduced an additional line in the ‘Periodic Trial Balance’ to display the net profit percentage. This is calculated as follows: (Profit for the year/Sales Year till Date)*100 = Net Profit Percentage.

Here Figure 1 shows: Sales YTD= 61967.89
|
Figure 2 shows. Profit for the Year = 42695.34
|
So the Net Profit % is = (42695.34/61967.89)*100 =68.90
