Manage Time Recording

 

Overview

For service-based businesses, you may now record the time and expenses spent on customers and then invoice accordingly.  This enables you to better manage the productivity of collaborative team work and track the profitability associated with each customer.

Manage Time Recording

To change the ‘Time & Expense’ settings for your business select Settings » General Setup » Manage Time Recording to open the ‘Manage Time Recording Browse’.

                                                                                Select to Open Time Manager

By selecting the ‘Manage Time Recording’ you will be redirecting to the following screen.

Enter the following details depending up on the business.

Time Settings

Use Time

Tick the check box if ‘Time’ is used in the business. 

Use Project

Tick the check box if ‘Project’ is in use for your business.

Default Time VAT Rate

Select the default VAT rate set for the ‘Time’.

Default Expense VAT Rate

Select the default VAT rate

Time /Expense Type

Type

‘Type’ column defines whether the type is ‘Time’ or ‘Expense’.

Description

‘Type of the Description’ will description will appear under description column. 

VAT Code

VAT Code of the Time / Expense type will display the VAT rate.

Add

To ‘Add’ a new Time/ Expense type.  Use this option.

Edit

To edit the ‘Type/ Expense’ use the edit option. Please note, once it is used in transaction

Delete

If you wish to delete the Time/ Expense use the ‘Delete’ button. Please note, system will allow to delete if the ‘Time of Expense’ is not in use.
